The Face Behind Lumèra

My name is Anjana, founder of Lumèra Skin Clinic, and I am an internationally trained cosmetic doctor with a deep passion for skin health, aesthetics, and holistic beauty.

I hold a medical degree from abroad and an International Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine, through which I received extensive training in skin rejuvenation, acne management, anti-ageing treatments, mesotherapy, laser treatments, and advanced aesthetic procedures. My medical background allows me to look at the skin not only from a cosmetic perspective, but also from a health-based, safe, and responsible approach.

After moving to the Netherlands, I began my journey toward full BIG-registration and, during this time, I have been actively working as a clinical aesthetic practitioner within the legal scope of practice in the Netherlands. Over the past two+ years, I have gained hands-on experience in:

* Deep cleansing and extraction facials

* Bio & chemical peels

* Acne and pigmentation treatments

* Microneedling for face & scars

* Microneedling for scalp & hair loss

* Mesotherapy for skin & hair

* Dermaplaning

* LED therapy & skin rejuvenation

* Laser-based aesthetic treatments (within a clinical setting)

* Maintenance & preventive skin care

* Cosmetic coagulation (within allowed scope)

At Lumèra, safety, honesty, and gentle yet effective results are at the core of every treatment. I strongly believe that beautiful skin is built through consistency, correct guidance, and personalised care — not aggressive treatments or false promises.

One of my greatest strengths is my experience with all skin tones, from the lightest to the darkest. I have worked extensively with clients from diverse backgrounds including Dutch, Indian, Pakistani, Moroccan, Turkish, Arabic, African, and international expat communities. This has given me deep insight into how different skin types respond to acne, pigmentation, scarring, and anti-aging treatments, allowing me to safely tailor each treatment to the individual.
